In 2017 we introduced the 15.5 oz. Kojima selvedge as part of our first denim fading contest, in collaboration with Cultizm and Robin Denim. Now we partnered up with Cultizm again and are using the very same fabric for our first selvedge denim chino; this style will be exclusively available through our webshop and Cultizm.

FIT

The BC-01 TAPERED CHINO is a sophisticated regular fit with roomy thighs and a slim profile. The taper from the knee down allows for the silhouette to maintain a slightly slimmer bottom hem for a contemporary casual look, and the curvature of the waistband offers additional comfort from the very first wear. The BC-01 is an overall clean-cut and durable pair of pants ready for everyday wearing.

FABRIC

The name of 15.5 oz KOJIMA SELVEDGE derives from its place of inception. It's a traditional red cast Japanese denim woven at a low tension for extra comfort and breathability. This fabric has a high fading potential; over time the denim will mature into a bright blue hue with indigo nuances. The construction is slubby and uneven. This adds a subtle element of depth to the fabric and contributes to the unique evolution of the denim. It has been the first Japanese fabric ever used in our EUROPEAN MADE line.
