18 oz. HEAVYWEIGHT DENIM
Heavyweight fabrics are usually known to be very bulky and slubby, but this one isn’t. The yarns we’re using are much finer, but because the fabric has been woven with a high tension, it feels very crisp. It’s considered a tight weave and because the yarns are woven close to each other, not much of the white weft is visible on the outside. Therefore, this type of construction contributes to the weight of the jeans, as well as the dark appearance of the denim.
The opposite can be found on the inside, where not much of the indigo is visible. Wearing these jeans with a turn-up, will provide a very nice contrast between cuff and leg. Cuffing the jeans will expose the pinkish selvedge line at the outseams, which can also be found at the hidden pocket.
We have used our signature copper-coloured stitching throughout the jeans, combined with indigo-dyed details. All labels have a cotton base, making them less shiny compared to polyester ones. The jeans are finished with stainless steel buttons, copper rivets, and a natural tan leather patch, each stamped with their style number, B-01 or B-02.
The fabric has been woven by Collect from Kojima, and the jeans have been constructed by our factory in Portugal.
