Last year, we introduced the 2-pack tees in the colours off white and black. These tees were well received upon their launch, so we decided to produce a lot with seasonal colours for the SS23 collection. To achieve these colours, we took the off-white tees and overdyed them in the colours lavender, ash and sand.
The overdye technique, also known as garment dyeing, involves dying the entire garment after it has been sewn, rather than using pre-dyed yarns. This technique gives the fabric a more nuanced colour and a vintage feel, as if the item has been worn and washed a few times. The result is a t-shirt with more character and depth, albeit subtle.
We dubbed this style the BT-08 CLASSIC TEE, but for reference, they use the same fabric and silhouette as our BT-2P TWO-PACK TEE. These tees are limited in quantity and won’t be restocked, so don’t sleep on it.
