We are pleased to introduce a brand-new chino - the BC-04 RELAXED CHINO. This new cut is based on the pattern of our B-04 RELAXED jeans, and is the most generously fitting option in our chino range.
Unlike our previous chino styles, which use an attached waistband construction similar to jeans, we have opted for a classic chino construction for this one. This means that the BC-04's waistband is integrated into the front and back panels, and finished with a contrasting herringbone twill lining on the inside. We have also used this herringbone lining for the pocket bags and will use it for a shirt later this season as well.
In addition, and different to our previous chinos, we have added a small pocket next to the right-hand side's front pocket, and the outseams feature a double-needle chainstitch felled seam - both of which are common features found in classic chino styles. The bottom hems are finished with a single needle stitch.
We are launching our relaxed chino in an 8.5 oz. sateen twill fabric, in the colours aged green and bronze brown. The sateen fabric can be referred to as a USMA West Point Twill. USMA stands for United States Military Academy and this type of sateen twill was typically used in the production of clothing for students of this academy, many decades ago.
Although its 8.5 oz make it a relatively lightweight fabric, it is still very durable due to the tightly woven construction. Additionally, the fabric feels soft to the touch because it uses a fine yarn, and due to a factory pre-wash.
