As we have been expanding our range of offerings in the 13 oz. indigo eco selvedge fabric, it is important for us to communicate the reasons for its 'eco' label. To shed some light on this matter, we decided to consult the creators of the fabric itself. So, we hopped on a call and had a conversation with Simon Giuliani from Candiani Denim, who provided us with all the technical information about our most sustainable fabric.
Candiani Denim has truly elevated the development of this fabric by engineering the seeds to create a hybrid-cotton, which is known as Blue Seed. Hybrid seeds combine the best characteristics of multiple seeds, resulting in a cotton fiber with superior physical qualities.
