After years of absence, we’re finally bringing back a highly requested denim fabric into our collection: 14 oz. green cast selvedge.

It has taken us quite some time to find a suitable alternative after the Japanese equivalent was discontinued a couple of seasons ago, but our long-standing partner Candiani Denim fortunately came to the rescue by introducing this new colour cast to their own line-up of shades.

We had to pick it up immediately and add it to our range, starting with the B-01 SLIM TAPERED and the B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT for our AW25 collection.

A DIFFERENT SHADE OF BLUE

Our 14 oz. green cast selvedge is a type of denim that has a subtle greenish tint in its indigo dye. To achieve this beautiful green tone, the core of the yarns is dyed yellow, before it moves onto a total of 7 indigo baths. Over time, the green undertones become more prominent as the denim fades, resulting in a unique patina that replicates a vintage shade of denim dyed with natural indigo, which is already greenish by nature.

OUR CORE FITS

For the initial release, we decided on two of our signature cuts: the B-01 SLIM TAPERED and the B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT.

Our B-01 is a slim fitting jean with a medium rise, snug thighs, and slim tapered legs. Don’t let the term ‘slim’ trick you; the fit focuses more on a ‘slim look’ rather than a ‘slim fit’.
One of the design details that enables this is its curved waistband, which creates a figure-hugging silhouette and a super-comfortable top block.

The B-02 is a regular fitting jean with a classic high rise and straight legs. It’s inspired by a 1940s straight-cut silhouette, with a few adjustments made to enhance the fit for modern-day requirements, such as a shaped top block. This elevates the comfort level by allowing plenty of room for movement while ensuring an excellent fit.
