We’ve partnered up with Candiani Denim to create a series of limited edition pieces. The collection blends selvedge denim heritage and upcycling sustainability. We’ve used a selection of their deadstock and surplus fabrics, to make six garments: a chino, two overshirts, a brand-new type II jacket in two fabrics, and a new iteration of our recent collab with Bonne Suits.

We’re kicking off this collection with the new BONNE x BENZAK jacket, created with two different denim fabrics, hence the name mix-‘n-match-selvedge. Because the available quantity of both fabrics was so limited, but we couldn’t bear seeing these beautiful fabrics go to waste, we decided to combine them, thereby ending up with enough garments for our production minimums.

By merging these fabrics we've created a two-faced jacket, where the selvedge of both fabrics come together at the back. This also resulted in a beautiful dual-coloured selvedge ID on the inside of the jacket. To accentuate the concept of mixing and matching, we swapped the pockets to their contrasting sides, making them pop out even more.

The jacket is now available through Bonne Suits’ webshop and Amsterdam store, the Candiani Denim Store in Milan, and the BENZAK webshop. The remainder of the capsule collection will be available through our webshop next week.
