The B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT has become one of the cornerstone fits in our collection. Inspired by the straight-cut jeans of the 1940s, it combines a classic high rise and straight leg with a subtly shaped top block for improved comfort and a more refined fit. The result is a silhouette that stays true to its vintage inspiration while meeting modern-day expectations.
We've restocked the B-02 in three of our core selvedge denim fabrics, each offering its own distinct character and ageing potential.
Our 14 oz. green cast selvedge stands out through its subtle green undertone. The effect is achieved by first dyeing the warp yarns yellow before applying the indigo dye. As the denim fades with wear, the green hues gradually emerge, creating a patina reminiscent of vintage denim dyed with natural indigo.
Woven by Candiani Denim in Italy, this midweight fabric balances everyday comfort with a distinctive character that becomes more pronounced over time.
Introduced in 2017 during our first denim fading contest, the 15.5 oz. Kojima selvedge has grown into one of the defining fabrics in our core collection. Woven at low tension by Collect Mills in Kojima, Japan, it offers a traditional red cast appearance with a slubby, uneven texture that develops remarkable depth as it ages.
The combination of its breathable construction and exceptional fading potential allows the denim to evolve into vibrant shades of blue while retaining plenty of character. It also holds a special place in our history as the first Japanese fabric to be featured in our European made line.
The 15 oz. vintage indigo selvedge, also known as our Special #2 denim, is the second proprietary fabric developed exclusively for BENZAK. Woven by Candiani Denim in Italy, it recreates the rich vintage indigo tones commonly seen on denim from the 1960s.
Its unique construction pairs thicker weft yarns with finer warp yarns, resulting in an exceptionally soft interior and immediate comfort without compromising durability. Finished with the custom Azzurri and Oranje selvedge ID, the fabric celebrates the long-standing collaboration between Candiani and BENZAK, while paying tribute to Italy and the Netherlands.
