Fit
The BWS-04 SCOUT OVERSHIRT is a versatile shirt silhouette that can both function as a shirt and jacket, depending on the season. This makes this overshirt perfect for layering. The design is simple yet utilitarian and takes inspiration from scout styles. It features two large chest pockets with shovel-shaped flaps. The cuff slits are finished with a continuous strip for durability, and the bottom has a subtle curve.
Fabric
The 9.5 oz. ombre check flannel twill has been brushed on both sides for an extra comfy touch and feel. The ombre check pattern acts like an optical illusion; from a distance, the pattern appears to perfectly blend each colour to the other, creating a smooth gradient design. The term comes from the French word ombré, which translates to ‘shadow’ or ‘shaded’.
The fabric was originally acquired for a project some years ago, that, unfortunately, never saw the light of day. However, we found a new purpose for it and made a limited series of our bestselling scout overshirt. Due to this, only 71 red shirts, and 59 grey shirts have been produced.
