HOW TO MEASURE - JEANS/PANTS
WAIST
Lay the jeans/pants flat on a table or the floor. Pull up the waistband at the center front so that front and back side are aligned, as in this picture. Measure the top of the waistband and double this measurement. (±42.5 cm in this example)
For some jeans it's a bit tricky to align front and back this way. In that case you can also twist the waistband 1/3 of its width, so that it's easier to align it.
THIGH
Measure the thigh from the crotch to the side across the fabric at the widest point. Start your measurement in between the back rise double needle stitch. Make sure to measure the entire width, from edge to edge (not only from inseam to outseam). (±32 cm in this example)
KNEE (step 1)
Measure 35 cm from crotch down the inseam; this is where you measure the knee.
KNEE (step 2)
Measure the knee from side to side across the fabric. Make sure to measure the entire width, from edge to edge (not only from inseam to outseam). (±20.5 cm in this example)
BOTTOM
Measure the bottom from side to side across the fabric. Make sure to measure the entire width, from edge to edge (not only from inseam to outseam). (±17.5 cm in this example)
FRONT RISE
Measure the front rise from crotch seam to top of waistband.
BACK RISE
Measure the back rise from crotch seam to top of waistband.
INSEAM
Measure the inseam from crotch (in between double needle stitch) to bottom (±86 cm in this example)
