Fit
The BWJ-01 WORKER JACKET is our take on a classic worker jacket style with a hint of tailoring. The body is cut slightly longer, and a bit more fitted for contemporary fit. It features two large patch pockets on the outside and a hidden chest pocket, finished with a rivet from the inside.
Fabric
We have dubbed this fabric the ‘paint roller’ as it looks like a denim fabric that has been painted white with a roller from the outside. This effect is created by combining an ecru warp with a blue-greyish weft. Because this darker weft is visible through the twill lines, it looks just like a denim fabric with paint on top that hasn’t fully penetrated the core of the denim yet. Obviously, no actual paint has been used, and this fabric is in fact one of the most sustainable fabrics in our collection. Instead of 100% conventional cotton, it uses 76% organic cotton, and 24% recycled cotton. Candiani is using discarded clothing for the recycled part, which gives the weft this blue-greyish look.
