As part of our AW24 collection, we are introducing a brand-new 13 oz. black slub selvedge denim, available in two distinct straight fits. Whether you're a fan of timeless silhouettes or prefer a more modern slim cut, this new release offers something for both.

THE FABRIC

Crafted from a mid-weight 13 oz. selvedge denim, it strikes a nice balance between durability and comfort, making it ideal for year-round wear. Both the warp and weft are black sulphur-dyed, creating a deep, rich tone that will age beautifully with wear. While it won’t fade as quickly as indigo, you’ll notice a unique patina developing over time.

Slubs are irregularities in the thickness of the warp yarn, resulting in an uneven textured fabric. The fabric’s slubby texture is another one of its key features, and the irregularities will become more pronounced as the jeans are worn. The fabric has been woven by one of our trusted partners, Candiani Denim from Italy.

TWO FITS TO CHOOSE FROM

This black slub fabric is available in two different fits, catering to different style preferences. The B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT fit, inspired by 1940s workwear, features a high waist and a classic straight-leg silhouette. It’s perfect for those who appreciate a timeless, vintage look. On the other hand, the B-06 SLIM STRAIGHT fit, new to our collection this season, offers a more contemporary feel. With a low waist and a slimmer cut, it’s the European made counterpart to our popular Japanese BDD-006.
