The BS-09 CREW NECK has solidified its position as a staple piece in the BENZAK collection. Last year, we introduced two garment-dyed colours with a brushed back, but it's the yarn-dyed melee colours that consistently prove themselves season after season: grey melee heavy sweat and oatmeal melee heavy sweat.
To account for the shrinkage that occurs during the garment dyeing process*, we made subtle adjustments to the fit of the navy and stone versions in previous production. We were so pleased with these subtle updates that we decided to apply them to the latest production of the grey and oatmeal versions... which have just been released.
So, what exactly has been updated?
In addition to fine-tuning the sleeves, armhole, and neck opening, the most significant change is the increase in the overall width of the fit. This change is particularly noticeable in the chest and bottom width. The sweatshirt now has a slightly more relaxed feel, making it suitable for both tall and shorter people.
The newly updated BS-09 CREW NECK is now available in both melee colours and the garment-dyed colours from previous season.
*Please be aware that the garment-dyed sweats still shrunk in production more than expected, so if you find yourself between sizes, we recommend going up from your regular BENZAK size.
