The BWS-02 UTILITY SHIRT is a vintage-inspired shirt style that has been part of our collection for many seasons. Our 8 oz. Japanese herringbone twill has become the staple fabric option for this shirt style, and next to the three core colours ivory, brown and black, we are now introducing a fourth colour to the lineup: worker blue.

The shirt borrows its details from vintage workwear aesthetics. It is following a regular cut with simple, yet functional detailing. It features two chest pockets, of which one is equipped with a pen compartment. The silhouette’s shorter body promotes a casual, relaxed look, and is designed to be worn untucked. The sideseams are finished with chain stitch runoffs, that were typically found on vintage workwear shirts, as the result of quick production and a ‘functionality-over-fashion’ mentality. We’ve embraced this detail as nod to the original however, and kept it there intentionally.

Because of the combination of fit and fabric, it can be used as an overshirt in summer, and as a regular shirt in winter, making this yet again a versatile option in the BENZAK range. The cotton used for this fabric is 100% organic which adds to its sustainable character. The natural corozo buttons used to accompany this fabric are dyed to match its specific colour
