Fit
B-01 SLIM TAPERED is a slim fitting jean with a medium rise, snug thighs, and slim tapered legs. Don’t let the term ‘slim’ trick you; the fit has been developed to cater to a wide range of body types and focuses more on a ‘slim look’ rather than a ‘slim fit’. One of the aspects of the design that engages this, is its curved waistband. This creates a figure-hugging silhouette and super comfortable top block. The slim tapered legs might not be the best choice for someone with strong calves (we recommend a straight cut in that case), but other than that B-01 SLIM TAPERED is a versatile fit suitable for most people, in both smaller and bigger sizes.
Fabric
At 18 oz., this dark indigo selvedge is the heaviest denim in our European-made range. Woven by Collect Mills in Kojima, Japan, it features deeply fixated indigo dye, giving the fabric its rich, dark appearance. Unlike most heavyweight denim, which typically uses thick, slubby yarns, this fabric is woven with much finer yarns at high tension. This results in a particularly dense construction with a crisp hand, leaving very little of the white weft visible on the outside. The reverse shows the opposite effect, with very little indigo visible, creating a striking contrast when the jeans are cuffed. This also reveals the pinkish selvedge line, a detail repeated at the hidden pocket.
