Fit
B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT is a regular fitting jean with a classic high rise and straight legs. It’s inspired by a 1940s straight-cut silhouette, with some adjustments enhancing the fit for modern day requirements, such as a shaped top block. This elevates the comfort level of B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT, as it allows for plenty of room for movement, while ensuring a great fit.
B-02 REGULAR STRAIGHT is the European equivalent of the ‘made in Japan’ BDD-707 (with some differences).
Fabric
The 13.5 oz. stonewashed selvedge is a midweight denim, woven by Candiani in Italy. The warp yarns have been dyed using a method in which a great portion of the yarn's core remains untouched, keeping the indigo confined to the surface. This means that wearers will require less time to reveal the white core, thereby shortening the duration needed for wearing and fading. Candiani has trademarked this technique Indigo Juice®, drawing a parallel to the way indigo is absorbed akin to a juice. Furthermore, this innovation results in a reduction of up to 15% in energy consumption and up to 15% in water usage during the denim dyeing process, as well as a significantly shorter stonewash process without the need of additional bleach to achieve this blue colour, making this a more sustainable option too. Furthermore, the wash doesn’t try to replicate the look of a worn-in garment, but rather provides a lighter colour shade, next to all our dark indigo dyes.
