Fit
BSS-01 HOLIDAY SHIRT is our interpretation of a summer shirt. With its camp collar it can be considered a mix of a classic Hawaii shirt and a bowling shirt. The fit is comfortably loose, without getting baggy. It features a single chest pocket with a rounded bottom and has a small split at the side seams for better movability.
Fabric
The 4 oz. natural fibre chambray is constructed from a mix of cotton, linen and ramie. They’re all natural fibres made from plants. Linen is known for its smoothness, softness, and tendency to become even softer with wear and washing. Ramie, on the other hand, is coarser and stiffer, but also stronger and more resistant to mildew and wrinkles. Blending 5% linen and 5% ramie with 90% cotton subtly enhances the fabric compared to pure cotton. The linen adds a touch of coolness, breathability, and a slightly crisper hand, while the ramie brings extra strength and better resistance to wrinkling. Together, they improve moisture absorption and give the fabric a slightly drier, airier feel, making it more comfortable in warm weather.
